FS- ARC NLA, MA70/MZ20 replacement core avail instead Mon, 21 July 2003 03:50 Go to next message
I have decided to fit the ARC cooler to my soarer instead and move my engine oil cooler to facilitate. Therefore my MA70/MZ20 cooler is up for sale instead. It is a dual pass design aftermarket core from Japan. Is a direct bolt-in for MZ20/21 7MGTE soarers or MA70 supras also with the 7MGTE. It did have a couple of leaks in it which I had repaired by ARE in brisbane here and tested so I know it doesnt leak now. Unfortunately due to their hourly rates it owes me a few dollars but Im willing to sell this one for $450 firm. May be used elsewhere, dont know but custom fabrication can do wonders if you care to try. Core size is 400x265x100 and the repair is a small section on the rear of the core. Will be a good upgrade over the stock cooler which has poor flow characteristics according to the pros.

You can but a aftermarket unit which will be better all round cheaper then your asking price

well lucky for me this IS an aftermarket intercooler bud. ARC are a top line aftermarket intercooler manufacturer in Japan which if you actually if you knew what you were talking about might have saved you from looking silly......

Ok BUD I realise ARC is a good aftermarket brand but look at the condition of it, I wouldn't even bother about buying any brand name intercooler for that price with that sort of condition. Your the one looking silly trying to sell it for that price. Thats my saying so otherwise goodluck to you.

oh, you mean they way it looks like a used core that someone hasnt cleaned up and tried to sell as a near new one? I guess I just enjoy giving people with nothing better to do an opportunity to show how small they are and a way to bignote themselves, get their post count up a little more and generally create a nuisance by making unwarranted, uninformative and generally stupid remarks about something that someone else owns and wishes to sell at a price far less then a new replacement one. If you choose to guy buy a K&J thermal core and put it on your engine thats fine by me, I have no objections to that at all but dont go bagging someone elses stuff unless you actually have something worthwhile to contribute. Theres enough people like you on performance forums so why bring it here?

edit- most unfortunate spelling error in there. Terrible when you leave the O out of count.

definately not behind 30 series as Ive been told and consequently investigated. It does fit into the front of a 20 series soarer but you would need to move the engine oil cooler elsewhere.

tis ok, I have decided to use it myself on my 20 series soarer and sell the MA70 core I had set aside for it instead. Its just as used, so I guess celicaboy wont like it either but thats ok.
