Guys
I want to clean my engine bay. There is road gunk and its filthy.
Do i get some degreaser?
Any special methods?
Ideas?

I've found that the spray at Car Lovers is pretty good. Big massive hose.

Just pay a dollar and make sure you hose it and rinse it within 1.5mins. Smile

Make sure u dont wet your dizzy and/or your alarm system
put some plastic around it to cover it

and obviously make sure your engine is not hot when your doing this

i cant think of anything else
besides that clean away top and bottom

Degreaser - the reject shop stuff is a bit ordinary, but at under $2 a can, you can afford a few. Buy something more expensive though, and a gurney is a GREAT help, especially with hot water! Otherwise get your garden hose, and hook it up to the hot tap in the laundry. Make sure you've got a decent hose though, otherwise when it warms up it'll make an unholy mess!
