Hi guys, this is my first post, may as well make it a good one on the way back home from the gym last night when i was confronted by a Nissan Pulsar SSS (N14) 2lt. he flew past me and waited at a bus stop till i came behind, he pulled out and and we both went for a run. both in second gear, put it down, GAME OVER!!!! pulled 3 car lengths on him . He came for a second go at the next lights, 1st gear, 2nd gear pull about 2 1/2 car lengths by the time i get into third it was all over 5 car length lead. thinking to myself he should give up now, but NO, he went for a third try, let him get in front, reeled him in midway through second and BYE BYE BYE LOSER.

Are the N14's the last generation SSS or is that the N15?
I know the last of the SSS Pulsars aren't the best but the previous generation SSS are awesome. They're a bit lighter than a Seca SX too and they'll put up a better fight than the one you described.
I nust say though, that SSS guy sounds like one shithouse driver if he let you get that far ahead.

My brother's got a N14 SSS they go hard. Haven't run him yet. But I'll never forget the look on his face when I kept up with him when he had his CRX and I had AE82 Twin Cam! But the best one has to be when I ran a VK V8, she got 1/2 car length ahead by the time I hit 3rd, but then came a roundabout. God bless nimble cars!

it goes really well and handles very nicely

Ummmmmm.. well i hate to disappoint all you guys... But my previous car was N14 SSS... a few things id like to say.. I had all the usual Rice mods done..
As for the later SSS being slower.. Bullshit!.. (n15 v N14) My mate has one (still) I ran him.. And it was Even stevens.. Nothing in it at all.. As for a SSS being Quick.. They arnt that quick.. They go well for what they are.. But they dont deserve anywhere near the wrap you guys are giving em.. Give me my 4agze Mr2 Anyday!!!.. In which this was a funny read.. Cause last night out of the toll gates I roasted a Met. Yellow N15 with chromies from the gates!.. ehehhe.. he was devistated
For the record my sss. was a N14, Jap spec.. 1994 model..

Mate 1: N14 SSS with Silvia sr20de engine, and close ratio AUTO box, extractors. mate 2: 89-91(?) integra, auto (flat light ozzie model)
Integra left him for dead every run.
