I almost got collected twice in the space of about a minute by the same driver coming to work today. I was driving along (for the benefit of perth ppl) Tonkin Hwy coming from armadale and coming up to Roe Hwy going to turn right to midland. Roe Hwy runs over Tonkin so you exit to the left, go up a bank, wait at the stop lights to turn right.

Anyway, I was travelling the speed limit coming up to the turnoff, and a Daihatsu old something truck thing was infront of me doing about 80 so I'm like, slow dude, get in the lane he's not. As we go up the bank the road becomes three lanes, one left, two right, and he's moving to the left side. I'm like, ok, I'll take the right lane, and start moving up on the right. JUST as my nose comes past his tail he suddenly decides he wants the right lane, and swerves into it, leaving me to make a hasty tap on the brakes and move into the left lane. Now we are the first two cars up the top turning right, and as the lights go green, I take off, and even tho I'm in the outside, I'm going abit faster obviously and keep about level with him going around. About halfway around the corner I'm thinking, geez, he's running his lane abit wide, then I realise he's turning INTO MY LANE and I nail it to see him miss my tail by mere centimetres! Needless to say I nailed it so as to avoid driving in the same timezone as this potential organ doner. Mad Mad

Yeah there's plenty of completely clueless drivers on the road. I had nearly the same thing happen to me, ie being in a right hand lane and then some clever dick going 30-40 km/h slower than me decides it'd be a good idea to merge just as I'm about to hit him. Needless to say I slammed on the brakes and swerved as close to the barrier in the middle of the road as I could, just managed to slot in behind.

Anyway, later on, we were 'merging' from two lanes to one and he cuts me off again!! Then he beeps, puts his hand out the window and tells me to pull over to the side. I comply because I want to know how retarded this guy is. He starts lectureing me about how he could've been killed and if his kid was in the passenger seat then he could've died. Then he goes on to say "I was in the military and I was a military driver you're just some young idiot and I just want you to not let this happen to someone else".

At this stage my brother (passenger) was about cracking up laughing as he's got a national rally license plus I'm toying with the idea of getting one myself - yet this ass-wipe was trying to pull some kind of age/experience rank on me! Of course, didn't take long before I told the guy he was an irrational tool and I just drove off.

Such is the state of drivers on the road Smile I guess it's only a matter of time before a real out-of-control P plater hoon actually doesn't avoid this guy's retarded lane changing and cleans him up.

I always think the same thing when people try and have accidents with me ... "if I wasn't paying attention, or if I were an old person/bad driver, then I'd have just had an accident".

usually I dont let people have 2 goes at having accidents with me. if I get iffy about someone's driving ability, I stay well back till I can get the hell past and away from them

hmmm.
Try midgit asian ladies driving Commodores Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad
Had one on the freeway between Newcastle and Sydney swerving in and out of traffic leaving very little room. Next thing she is beside me and indicating to move so I back off alittle and she pulls in front of me with cm's to spare, slam on breaks to save a sizeable accident but stayed on her bum till she moved over again then I was gone... Connors life is worth more than letting some silly Bitch take it away.
At least I now know that the little Cockroach can reach 160klm's with little effort. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes
