I, uh, *cough* had an incident as some of you may already know with my driver's side door. I have it booked in to be fixed at R&J Smash Repairs in Paramatta/Northmead. The quote is $1210. This includes $387 for a second hand door and $195 for a second hand quarter panel to be resprayed and fitted.

This is a bit stiff on the uni budget. The only other quote I have had is for $1000 for a repair job = not as good. Guy reckoned that door + guard were structually damaged

Does anyone have, or know where would be a good place to get these panels? If I can get the door and the panel for a better price I would save at least a little money.... white would be sick

Please let me know if you have any ideas

as rob said celica spares or ring around wreckers. there are some pick n payless places where you take your own tools and pull the bits off yourself and they charge alot less,i think there is one in seven hills and one somewhere out near parramatta

hey thanx for the helps!

I went to Celicar Spares in Wherethehell Park this arvo and he had white bits. Trim was wrong color, but they parts are good. Got a really good price on the door and guard and got some other bits while I was there too.

About 1/2 the price I was quoted by the smash repairs dude. I am going to fit them all myself and then just get him to respray them!

Awesome guys - Thanks Smile

hey I got new panels from Celicar Spares for a TOTAL bargain after being screwed around by a panel beater in Northmead (shall remain nameless for his sake unless unless you PM me )

The white is almost exactly the same and I have very happy. Fitted them myself in a few hours and all I need is to paint the trim and stick the stickers on and I am sorted.

thanks guys.
