Sounds like you should leave the rice to your Lancer.
Black bonnets are symbolic of unpainted carbon fibre bonnets... Painting your bonnet black is akin to attaching neon to it.

Kewl. Tell me how it goes. I'm interested in seeing the results.
Although I've had it flow tested and apparently it flowed enough.
It didn't run lean on the dyno both times I've had it on them, so that's a sign.

I'll go one better - wrapping your bonnet in that carbon fibre film available from all Autobarn's ... how's that for rice?

shutup dodgyharo - it was the pic of your car that gave me the idea ! hahahahah
Maxwell, I think mine leans a little on boost when I hit bout 240 km/h... so I think just change it while it is off the road u know what i mean ?
also driving on the dyno isnt 100% how ur car would run when u are driving it

Heh heh ... but I reckon that a white car and black bonnet is a good colour scheme as they contrast nicely - just check out Riceboy's old ride but imagine the triangle 'larger'.

Nothing wrong with carbon fibre bonnets. Wish I had one.
What is wrong though are fake carbon fibre bonnets (ie: painted black or stickered).

I actually have this thing for
the 'ikentani' aqua and warm grey two tone...
They are not to common in australia, and if the paint work is
nice... it'll be good.
rock on.

I always thought the whole point of painting a bonnet black was to stop the reflection/glare of the sun (ie during racing)... I'm sure people were painting their bonnets black long before carbon fibre ones came reasonably accessable.

I'm sure you find racing stripes real nice on road cars too?
