Hello, I have for sale a G series Hilux diff, it is the very sort after 1370mm style! Perfect fit for early Celica's.
This is a complete, drum to drum diff. Open center. Ratio is up around 4.8:1 I think.
I also have a brand new (well done about 20km) LSD center to suit this diff.
Decent ratios can be brought for under $400 new.
I'm hoping to sell this as a package and asking $750.

Nah it hasn't been put in yet.. Was a project that isn't going ahead.
Decided to go down the path of a F series diff.
To put in a TA22 just need mounts cut off your diff housing and put on this one. Width should be fine.

hay joel , its dennis i bought some 28 parts off you when you were still in horsby . have you messured the standard diff?? i was gonno go buy the one in cambera but your a shit load closer , ive blowen 3 diffs in bout 2 months , shitting me lol your up the cost now rite ??

Do you know the ratio on the LSD centre? and how much postage to castle hill would be? may be very interested, make an offer tomorrow depending on ratio etc

Ok to answer some questions...
Yeah living up on the Central Coast at Terrigal.
I haven't measured the standard diff but have been lead to believe it is around identical to this Hilux one. Most Hilux are 1410? or more I think. Whereas this is a rare 1370mm one which will make for a very nice fit.
Sam.. the LSD centre is just that, a centre. It does not have a ring gear or pinion. The open centre has this, but is a stupid ratio for a sports car. Do complete this diff, you'd really want to purchase a ring gear and pinion in the ratio you want, 4.1, or 3.9 maybe? They go for under $400 new.
Postage to Castle Hill?? I'm only a bit over 1 hour away. Don't think you could justify postage for that short a distance. Be easier to borrow a car/trailor and come grab it

what am i thinking, postage on a diff would be a bit more then $15! Talking to a wrecker they wanted $350 just for the 3.9 ratio. Do you have the tailshaft as well? And your not willing to split up the package? Unless you want to sell for around 500 I may be interested in a few more weeks.
Whats its condition like? have the brakes and drums died or still alright. and still solid no excessive rust bits.

Ahh man just buy the ratios new! $350 from Motive in Melbourne I think it is.
No tailshaft.
The drums/brakes all still look pretty much intact and ok. It'd be nice to see some rear discs go on it though! Not overly rusty, just the usual surface stuff from a diff sitting around gets.
If its not sold in a few weeks have a chat to me!

Gee Joel, It sounds like you have been doing a lot of thinking over the last couple of weeks. You do realise that there will be a lot of people on this fourm thinking you should be committed, for not wanting to put all that 3S power into a truck diff???

Hmm maybe im not being clear... let me try to explain.
I have 1 complete drum to drum diff (housing, brakes, center, etc). It has an open center and is 4.8:1 ratio or there abouts.
I have 1 band new LSD center in a box.
I am asking $750 for all of the above.
