Hey all...

Anyone got any spare RC servos they're not using? Looking for working and cheap!!!!

May also consider the following:
- Cheap ESC's
- Really cheap cars hehehe
- Schumacher car bits and pieces...
- Old on-road parts...

Ever get the feeling I'm cheap??? Nod

lol... got to keep the missus happy... and if I spend less on the RC, she is happier!

Send any details to Incredible_Serious@bigpond.com

Thanks!

Alex
(In Melbourne, in case it helps...)

i have one spare servo if you like. it's about 3 years old, but has never been used. it's from a Sanwa Dash Saber AM 29MHz radio set. standard garden variety three wire servo. if you like it's yours make me an offer (i'm not sure what it's worth...) i'm in melb but will post it anywhere if you like

i also have a Tamiya TA-02 car that is not running, and is only semi complete. it has a (almost) brand new ST185 Celica GT4 body and new white 5 spoke rims and new slicks. the car was raped of radio gear when i got a ic car, and in the mean time most of the pars have been lost. no motor, but f/r gearboxs and suspension are complete. make me an offer if you are interested

Oooohhhh... very tempting........ consider this a warning that I am thinking about your stuff.... lol... servo sounds good, and the TA02 *could* be useful.... just don't tell my missus.....

That means YOU, mad Kiwi.... (not you, dorikin!)

Could use a ballpark figure for what you want for your stuff, dorikin...

well because the wheels/tyres and the body are like new on the TA-02 i wouldn't mind around the $100. i'd prefer to get as much as you're willing to offer, cos even though the car does not run, it makes one hell of a static display model on my shelf and i love the look of it. the servo you can have for $15.

however, i'd be willing to swap the whole lot for a complete set of radio gear, but must be a wheel type radio. and if it were FM, that'd be much sweeter.

Hey Dorikin,

I do know someone who is selling a wheel radio... see below:

"ok i have a Futaba Megatech junior the older version, but it
is in good condition and comes with a servo."

Can get more details if you like... maybe we can work something out... have not mentioned the price, but it is very cheap!

I agree with you about the static model idea though, I've got a Tamiya WRX that I use for exactly the same reason...

Whereabouts in Melbourne ar you? Maybe we can get together and have a chat....

Hi Alex

Its a Tempest Pro,
And doesnt owe me anything,(ive won enough races with it to repay what it cost me) ive had it for a good 5 years i think
And its been in an Associated RC10LS for all of its life, but probably for the last 3 years when i stpped using the LS it hasnt been used. Not state of the art anymore but still able take any motor(even an 8 Triple believe me).

Cheers Ben.

How about a 30" by 20" rally photo poster print??? Got a few good AE86 photos amongst others.... (see my web page!)... course, if you rally your car down here, I could take a photo of yours and posterise that...

Then again, there's always cash...

Alex

P.S. Oh, then again, you could just give it to me.... lol... didn't think so...

yeah i'll take the wheel radio if it's cheap enough!! i'd also like an ESC to go with it, but it's gotta have reverse!!

anyway, if you know more about the radio gear, emial me or send me a PM, that way it's out of sight of the public to quote prices.

i'd love to catch up with you sometime, maybe even to see you real car, the sprinter. however i'm going to alice springs on thursday morning, so if you can organise the radio for me before the end of wednesday that'd be sweet, otherwise i won't be around till saturday the 20th of july.

know if you want my car or the servo???

So Ben, when you competing in a rally next???? Might have to make the trip up if it's possible... South New South would be ideal.....

i have a motor out of an Old Marui Galaxy at home - still goes well Smile

heh - i probably should sell my RC car in total - Got a brand new Kysho Gold motor in it that ive used about 3 times - been told with the right gears its good for about 80 - 100kmh .. Not bad for an electric motor

Hmms - well in a nutshell its a marui galaxy , that has a offroad buggy type shell on it , and a spare Escort RS200 shell , 2 motors - ones the stocko galaxy motor, the others the new Kysho .. Servos all work on it - it has a new handset , and 2 batteries .. ( its electric not gas )

Ive had it for 10 years at least now - but since i got the celica its been in my cupboard ..

The kysho motor will do 100Km's with the right gearings , and the motors adjustable for low or high end speeds ..

Everything is in pretty good order - has its own box and a box full of spare bits too ..

The motor alone cost me over $300 dollars at the time but if anyone wants to make me a reasonable offer for it, ill consider it ..

Ill have pics in a months time if anyone wants them too - as its at my folks place in Vic ...

Hey Classique71, I'd be interested in the pics... sounds very interesting! $300 for an electric motor sounds a bit scary though....

You'll have to let us know how much you'd let it go for.... give us something to mull over while the pics are coming....

I bought the motor before the big gas car crase started to hit hence the price ..

Id probably take say around the $200 mark for it, but once again - ill still ahve to think about selling it - but i am leaning towards letting it go

More $$ for me means more $$ injected into the Celica Mods fund ( $200 would nearly get me my camshaft ! )
