Flywheel Bolts

From a couple of manuals and articles i have read on the web people are recommending replacing the flywheel bolts once the flywheel has been taken off the engine, i was just wondering whre do you get replacement bolts from? Do they have to be toyota genuine part$ or can you get them from a autoshop like repco or super cheap? I have a 100kw 4age.
cheers,

Myth is replacement... They're good for a couple of removals. And yes, they are only available from toyota.... ARP may have something but I didn't bother.

Ditto,
Replace them with Toyota genuine items they are guaranteed to be cheaper than any single bolt you can buy from ARP. I generally do a couple of times before replacement.

Yeah, mine cost $24 from Toyota - I'm sure actually still having FEET will make that a worthwhile investment

I got a length of steel rod and bent a loop on one end and bent that on a right angle. You put a bolt through the loop and this screws into a pressure plate bolt hole. The other end just sits in a bellhousing bolt hole on the block.
Hope that makes sense

Have you guys priced 2JZGE flywheel bolts? $15 each, and there's 8 of them.

Well I actually got an old battery bracket and cut in half It already has the loop, all you have to do is bend it.

I just use a short length of chain. I bolt one end to a clutch pressure plate hole and another to a bellhousing hole. Job done.
