Sorry Ed, but I'm very keen on them so (if it's ok with dcving, I just PMed you back!) Sad

A helpful guy on the classic celica list told me this:
"Dampers for a 23/24/28/29/35/4# will fit the 6# Dampers for a 20/21/22/25/27 will not. Basically mid 75 to mid 85 Celica, Corona and Cressida front dampers are interchangeable."

Hope this helps you some. I've been looking for decent dampers for my A6 for ages, and I didn't know A2 ones (and which models) woudl suit until now.

Someone one the OCC told me they are about 1/2 an inch shorter than the A6 stut inserts, which is good news for me, as my car is lowered and will have 30mm RCA blocks too. The verdict is still out on whether you *need* short-stroke struts with RCAs. Whiteline and a few people say you do as the lower arms will droop more than the travel of the balljoints; a LOT of people say it doesn't matter, at the worst on full droop they will rest on the swaybar, and it would never happen outside of being jacked up or on a hoist. Or the struts wont extend fully anyway. Or even if you do do dukes of hazard style jumps, you can just rig up restraining straps just in case Wink
