Is there a good donner car to get it off?
Thanks

slightly OT...
Clark Rubber sell a aluminium coated, heavy duty, adhesive backed foam insulation that you can use under the bonnet.
I saw some at a Clark Rubber shop in Stafford (BNE) when buyin seat foam and the sales-dude said it suitable for under-bonnet use.
I guess it would make i mess if you have to remove it.
But it would keep heat in the engine bay and cut down on some noise?

Cool, thanks for that.. Got 2 leads now.. Clark rubber and I heard of a product called Armaflex used in relation to air conditioners I think. Thats meant to be good, fireproof too.
I want it to keep heat off the underside of the bonnet.. Turbo sits a bit close and is starting to do damage to the paint.
Cheers

Places that make replacement carpet for cars also have sound deadening material for the firewall, floor, under-bonnet etc. Check the Open Road NRMA journal.
