WOW now thats a serious auto cooler!!!!
No issues with pressure from memory the cooler feed line is the return from the torque converter, considering the pressure side is upto 800PSI should not be an issue!
just make shure the hoses are not going to be cut,split,kinked ect ect and theres good hose clamps! one line comes off theres oil everywhere and unless you notice before it slips majorly a dead auto dont ask how i know!
i would also consider a filter on the line i think its GM that make an inline filter like a fuel filter basicly.

The pressure used in ATF cooling lines isn't high - it's enough to go 'uphill' for you, but not stupid like 400psi, it's more like 10 (rough guess!).

Yes as above the cooler lines are only low pressure due to large volume and no restriction on the return.
as for the too much cooling issue, get a electric reserve fuel tank valve from a 4x4 place set it up to bypass the cooler and wire it into a thermo switch on the auto if needed
