I am just looking around for some web hosting. I am obviously looking for a business that offers high speed access to my Site and other things like good size webspace and email addresses etc.
If anyone knows of any good Web Hosting companies that are cheap please let me know!
QYK11E - Give HostOnce (http://www.hostonce.com.au) a try. They offer unlimited data storage and transfer for $9.95 a month on either Win2K servers or Unix (it's up to you). Also lets you set up unlimited email addresses, FTP accounts etc etc..
I find the speed to be reasonable for my requirements (mainly just photo galleries) but obviously it's not as fast as a volume billed service would be. Have a look at http://www.luc1d.net and see what you think of the speed.
You could try giving Qnix a try. They host these forums and the prices (if you're a ToyMods member) are pretty comparable. Plus you have the added benifit of having good support from Sam.
re: the site though - I just use a Photo Gallery Generator (which i haven't registered yet!!) for the photo pages. The main index page was done with Frontpage, but it's extremely simple, and could have probably been done in any simple editor.
