hey does anyone no what grade oil is used in the 4age boxes... wats the factory recommendation???? thanks [Report message to a moderator]

i cant remember what the factory recomendations is, but i tried some Valvoline (i dont normally like Valvoline oils) DuraGear 75w/85 Synthetic blend gear oil in my E51 with LSD. well the gearbox likes it, helped with my slightly notchy gear changes. [Report message to a moderator]

Multipurpose gear oil API GL-4 or GL-5. Grade: SAE 80W or 75W/90 Regards, Liam. [Report message to a moderator]

on that gearbox i always used penrite xtra light.... felt so much better then anyother oil by far.... dont remember the grade... [Report message to a moderator]
