3tg hybrid

i hav bits for the 2tg 3t hybrid. my question is can i use 2tg bits for the bottom end, or do i need to run all 3t bits in the bottom end?
reason i ask is i hav a 2tg in my car and only got some bits from a 3tc (block, crank)and i need a new engine sooner rather than later
i know its a personal preference, but what cams are good to run?
should the compression influnce my choice?
and finally what engine internals should i get new (if i can)
hope the above makes sense

you will have to get some 3t pistons, cause you cannot use the 2tg ones with the 3t crank.

try toms corolla site for 2T/3T info.
cams and CR?? well, you chould choose before you start building the motor what rpm range you want it to work in. that will decide all your other choices like intake and exhaust manifolds, dry sumping etc ...
if you want high rpm power, then you have a cam with large overlap (and lower dynamic compression) so you need to have higher static compression. if you have a low rpm torquey motor, static compression will need to be lower etc etc..
basically, pick you rpm range and build everything around that. you will end up with a better performing motor that way

ok, i have got the pistons and apparently they should run 11 11.5 :1 compression. so is this high rev power? what would a milder cam to suit be?
can i have another clue re: toms 2t 3t site??

hint, google for "toms corolla site"
http://www.netwiz.net/~tcar/corolla.html
my stage 4 cam 275/285 with 65 deg overlap was recommended as 10:1 minimum.
for 11:1 your looking at more like 300 deg duration, which is getting up to power bands that start around 5-6000rpm.
