I use mobil 1 5w/50 I think it is.

Plugs are NGK BKR6E
if you want the xtra expense and loss of HP then go the platinums NGK BKR6EP

use ONLY genuine filters - oil and fuel, they're worth the extra expense.

Oh and Boost, I use only 1 Bar of cool clean BOOST!!

The cool variety is better !!

Matt

If you want to use Ryco filters for oil - z418
Valvoline V022 (?)

Change timing belt at 100,000Kms - give you mechanic plenty of notice. I got one from Gates.

I agree - nothing but synthetic oil to keep those turbos happy (double turbos = double potential troubles)

If you want a genuine filter for a 1JZ, go to your local Toyota dealer and ask for an oil filter for a 1996 Vienta V6.

There are a host of other cars that use the same filter as the 1JZ, and the Vienta is one of them.
