Speaking of vans... I saw the funniest one at the drags a couple of years ago - an old piece of shit looking Bedford - it lines up, everyones laughing and thinking "what the f**k", and then proceeds to do the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds flat. 
Areodynamics of a house brick but powered by a 400ci fuel injected Chevy motor!!

if anyones seen "Clarksons top 100 cars" on DVD you'll see the numerous types of transits available and the extent people go to. They even have rally transits with wings and big intercoolers...
