Count me in any weekend ... in a few months time. I'm in Mt. Hawthorn, but can travel ... when I get the 1JZ stuffed in the Mk2 Supra. Sounds like a great excuss to get away from the missus (more jokes)... though she'd probbly want to bring the St162.

where'd you take yours over? I'm thinking of taking my silver one to Midland. I took my black on over there and they where so cruisy, didn't even pickup that I had a totally wrong front strut, just said, this brake line is alittle loose here, and that I had wheel spacers on the fronts Razz

I've been with my brother when he's taken a sandman over kelmscott, and they where bastards, checking that the chassis was straight, that the headlights where adjusted properly, the whole 9 yards. My headlight check was more like, "parks..... lights.... headlights.... beautiful" Laughing

No shit as long as its mechaniclay all right and there arent any major leaks (ie something you cant clean off with a rag before you go over).

They check your lights all of them, horn, wipers, seat belts, window winders.

I mean they could of done me for heaps of shht but they arent wnkrs cause my tyres stick out i have a differnt carbie - they didnt even say a word.

main thing they look for at the drags are:

1. coolant..and that you have a raidator overflow tank...
2. oil leaks or any fluid leaks.
3. brakes that work and the lights work aswell..
4. exhaust that is muffled no straight thru 4inch Wink

thats about it.

If it stops at 4 we would want to get there for 12 to get our moneys worth i reckon we should meet up in perth at 11 but if theres fck all of us going we should just meet at kwinana at 12 in one of the car parks.

what do you reckon?

SUNDAY STREET RACING

Sunday Street Racing for licenced, muffled Street vehicles will be held each and every Sunday commencing June 1 2003 until 29 June 2003. There will be then a 5 week break during the wettest month July before recommencing on Sunday 3 August and continuing through until 21 September 2003.

(Please note that the final Sunday in September - the 28th - has been set aside for ANDRA vehicle Test n Tuning. Any racer with an ANDRA license can race on that day).

Sunday Street Racing is just the thing for those wishing to experience the thrill of Drag Racing without the pressure of competition. All you need to compete is a licensed/muffled Street car or bike, a helmet and long sleeves, long pants and enclosed footwear.

Motorcycle riders riders need a recognizable riding jacket with appropriate protection inserts, or preferably a leather riding jacket and full leather m/bike riding gloves.

You can race your car or bike as many times as you wish and you will find the staff on hand only too willing to ensure that your first experience at Drag Racing is an enjoyable one.

Muffled ANDRA race vehicles including Junior Dragsters may also compete on the first and third Sunday of each month. These dates are June 1 and 15, August 3 & 17 and September 7 and 21. For further information please call the Quit Motorplex office on 9419 6622.

For Street Racers Additional event information can be obtained by contacting the Motorplex office on 9419 6622 or the Event Info Line on 1 902 291 500.

In the event of inclement weather a decision will be made around 9am Sunday morning with both the event info line (1 902 291 500) and the Quit Motorplex office numbers will be updated to advised you if the event is going ahead as scheduled.
