How do u rego a car from vic to nsw?

Has anyone rego'd a car from another state to nsws?
I do believe theyre going to have to do a blue slip, and from my understanding thats gonna be a very detailed inspection on my car. Are they really fussy when they do a blue slip?
any comments welcomes..

if the car is in good general condition and everything that needs to be working does work then you shouldnt have any worries.

When I got a sprinter from ACT, I had to do a blue slip.
They check the standard stuff like Exhaust, breaks, lights, tyres. Stuff like that. The sprinter I had had a large exhaust and was lowered, sports steering, everything else was stock.
I has to change a broken park light and some balding tyres and that was it. The lady at the RTA said that they do random database checks on cars to see it they are stolen, can take a couple of days but I didn't have to.
So like Rob said if your car is in fine working order and you know it aint stolen then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I love my Vic rego get a road worthy cert once and you never have to again if you dont attract the boys in blue!

my mate just did this for a KE20 corolla.
he got picked up on:
loose seat belt stitching (got new ones)
a crack in a door frame (welded it up)
and a fully butchered air cleaner  it had been anglegroud to within an inch of it's life  (got one from me and all good)
was recommended that you do it in Queanbean as they are not too picky and it's only just outside of canberra
