I have a dilemma

My mate tells me instead of painting my new white trim on my new door black to match the rest of the car, I should paint the rest of the trim on my car white and remove the pin stripe.

So I have done a quick little job on the computer. Please tell me what you think looks better. Thanks guys

Personal opinion, keep the black stripe. It gives the car an edge and breaks up all the white.

hmm well the white is a hassle though. And it just looks SO white without the stripe. (agrees with swankie) Almost ricey (agrees with Brett).

what if I kept the pin stripe only?

actually I don't like just the pinstripe. maybe I should just loose the pinstripe. I think we have covered every combination here Smile thanks for bearing with my incredible indecisiveness Smile

Like I said, I like it with the black stripe to break the white up. If your gonna go and make it all white then you will need to do something about those wheels. Something in the form of a 17" rim and not in white.
There is those limited edition "white lightning" celicas getting around in all white and they look very nice but they have a graphic to break the white up

I picked up my wheels for m seca which are 17x7 Bella chromies with Silverstone 45x205x17 rubber for about $1800. Its not the money, its the end result. Just buy them or finance them then worry about the price

Ditch the pinstripe, keep the trim.

That said, it seems like a whole shit load of work ($$$) to remove a pinstripe. Thats assuming that where the stripe was would have to be resprayed.

peel off and clean!

its white paint anyway so if its a little faded underneigth it wont show up that much!

Hey Rob,

As you know, I'm thinking of painting my "White Lightning" stripe black. Personally, I really like the black and it would look a little too white without the strips down the side.

It's probably not worth the hassle, but if you don't want your baby to look like mine then ditch the black 'cause that's my next job.

Can anyone tell me a little more about financing wheels and where to buy from?

yep, this one is the best IMO. the black stripe breaks up the white as aformentioned, and kinda makes the car look longer....yeah Very Happy
