7M-GTE Power Steering Pump

Hey Guys,
For the last few months i've gradually been getting a noise in my engine bay thats pretty hard to pinpoint. To describe it - it sounds like a high piched whirring noise that gets higher and lower with the engine rev's in fact it sounds identical to when you're running low on power steering fluid!
Now i've checked my power steering fluid and its all topped up and i'm still getting this noise so i'm assuming its some kind of bearing in the power steering pump
Does anyone have a power steering pump that'd suit my 7M for sale? or have any advice on what they think the noise could be and any quick ways to fix it... or previous experience with the problem? I've had a look on the web and can't really find much
Thanks heaps!
Dan

I got a 1G-GTE PS pump and it was making whirring noise. Drained the 2 year old PS fluid out and replaced with a fresh dexron II fluid, the PS pump is a lot quieter now. The fliud that was in there was all burned and black. That probably contributed to the pump making so much noise.
