Yes it will fit a 2TG and T50 with minor mods to bellhousing. The bottom starter bolt hole has to be drilled out and slight clearance made for the bolt head at the gearbox side. Or you can just use the top bolt only if that's too hard. (It's been done! but not by me) I had a T50 behind my 3TGT with a 2T flywheel etc. and it worked just nicely.
It means it isn't direct drive, it goes through a gearset from the motor to pinion then to flywheel. (They're better) If it off a 3TGTE it should be reduction.
