Hey after a working / good 5M-E alternator (mine has an inbuilt regulator I'm pretty sure so it will need to be the same setup).
Or if you have a shagged one in Bris that I can get recoded while still having a car that would be good too!
Also does anyone know if say 5M-GE / 7M-GE alternators would fit or if they have a higher current rating?
(A larger current rating would be nice!)
I had a friend with his MA61 - 5ME fitted a 7MGE Alternator with modifications to the alternator bracket but he regretted fitting the 7MGE since it was a headache to fit it in the car... Hope you do find the 5ME or equil. alternator.
