4AGZE alternater charging problem

Guys,
I've wired up my 4agze and the engine runs fine, but the battery is not being charged by the alternater.
I have not joined any wiring together between the ae92 sx body loom and the new ze loom for the charging system. Hence, my charge warning light never comes on and the battery is not being charged.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The alternator has got 4 wires - sense, light, field and the main charge one. On mine I just hooked charge/sense both to the ignition switch, the main one to the battery and the warning light to the, er, warning light
I can't remember which one was which on the 3 pin plug off the top of my head - sorry!

Thanks guys
I ended up running a new wire from the iginition switch to the alternater, and that has worked. Still don't have the charge light, but I can live without that for the moment
