ijz how mutch boost and cam profiles

hi does any one know what boost factory computer can handle and what stock 1jz timing maps are like I have a jza70 supra with rz 440cc injectors h/f ct 26 to4e 60-1 comp 10 degree backcut on exhaust external wastegate exhuast intercooler ect i have been running 18psi boost with a/f ratio of about 11.5 under full load with a gizzmo fcd iI am going to upgrade 2 a garret gt 30 40 as i feel that the ct 26 will not b realiable ova 18psi for long periods of time I would also like to change the cams to sumthing bigger has any one done this what sort of profiles and results did u have any feed back mutch appreciated cheers rob

thanks 4 the links almcc. power was actually a bit dissapointing but think mainly due to excessive ritch mixtures was runing of scale on 9:1 or ritcher @ 15psi kept windin boost up but didnt want more than 18psi on ct26 and car ova heating because dyno fan failed and we didnt know only made 174 kilowatts at wheels at 18psi sum of this due to auto trans power loses i have since changed cam timing asswel from 2 degrees retard on inlet to 2 degrees advance and 4 degrees retard on exhaust this seems to have improved things quite abit but but havent put it on dyno since wasnt very impressed with dyno operator gona go sum where else im waning to try a dif ecu its a knightpager out of a chaser bein a jap ecu prop tuned 4 100 octane fuel but il try it on 98 with octane boost and c only other choice is prob a unichip bcuase of the auto was sorta expectin about 190 kw at least shit happens hopin 4 230 rwkw with gt30 ecu n twin jz fuel pumps any advice apreciated thanks guys

I would say you are way short of the expected power, in your situation I would consider an adjustable FPR and some dyno time to set the A/F's back to high 11's at least. Of course only after checking the health of all ancillary systems.
I was expecting a figure in excess of 250 rwkw with the gear you quoted. You potentially can make some decent power just needs some sorting.
Dont go unichip, find someone clever to rechip you existing ecu or go the whole hog with an autronic with CDI.
Rest assured you would make more power than now with a stock computer, stock injectors and a FCD.
Your a lucky man You've a lot to look forward to.

Oh and try 2 degrees adv on inlet and 6 degrees retard on exhaust.
Thats the recommended starting point for 1j cam gears (by HKS) for stock cams.

You should see 250-270rwkw with stock ECU, injectors, fuel pump, fpr, fcd, extra boost and piggyback A/F adjustment on a 1J.
I pulled a few runs at 245rwkw with high-flowed hybrid turbos, FCD, S-AFC and 1.2bar on stock ECU, pump and injecors - duty cycle was at 90+% though and it was just starting to lean out, so a fpr would have been interesting to see how far the ECU would go.

thats good news u guys r really gettin sum pwr outa these things id b haapy with 230 rwkw with auto trans i felt this would b about the limit of the ct26 4 reliability i didnt think u could get so mutch out stock injectors what kinda fuel pressure r u running i havnt been able to find any one who can prog fact ecu does any 1 know how hard to convert chaser ecu to supra loom can prob get entire loom and instuments if nesasary can get a knightpager ecu from chaser should b gd 4 big injectors and high boost when i get gt 30 id like to think 250 + rwkw would be acheivable with gd reliability thanx 4 your input on the cam timing Matt gave it a try even beta responce and top end pwr think im gona go 4 sum 264 degree cams with about 1mm more lift dnt wana push fact valve springs 2 hard thanks every 1 4 your input cheres Rob
