You can connect the kill switch to a number of things on the engine!
Coil
Igniter
Injectors
Or all of the above

i dont like fitting kil switches to electrical things that require good power
best thing to do is fit it to hte fuel pump trigegr wire or the wire that triggers the circuit openin relay
its usually a green wire

yes i understand
but on the other hand yr friend who was hgoin to change the fuel pump was going to get back to me on whether the car started after changing the fuel pump
but im sure someone rang me and i said that sss didnt have any fuel pressure regulators
another thing is if u took it to a proper worshop they workj charge u haeps more than i did
specially when half the places dont know what theyre looking for
but anyway im sorry u feel this way
next time tsake it to a workshop and let me know if they r any better or cheaper

dood - just advise for next time and your next jobs ok.. my mate was pissed that everything was left out of place...thats all
also - its not a matter of the price u charge or what the workshops charge... if you want ppl to like you for the job u do, make sure u impress them ok
then they would make recommendation etc

heat seca,
its quite easy to do yourself, just find a wire the car needs to run. this can be a wire going to the coil, ecu, fuel pump, or if you like just the starter motor. then all you do is put a switch in the wire. cut the wire and use wire of the same size to run the switch into your car wherever you want the switch to be and use an appropriate sized switch. any easay way to see if the wire your using will work before you cut it is to simply disconnect it and see if the car will start. easy

in your car dude there is a little connector for the fuel pump under the back seats. My kill switch is linked to that. Nice and easy. No chance of screwing any other circuits and totally stops the car
Little switch is hidden nicely somewhere where no one could find it

Go to Subaru, buy a keypad imobiliser from spares, $150 you have to enter a code before you can start the car its just like a kill switch except it connects up to 3 different circuits, ecu, fuel pump, injectors ect so they can rewire one thing but then they have a few more things they have to rewire, the keypads look good the lights flash around when its armed so it will stand out in the car an make people think twice before thinking about braking in. look under the hand break in any new WRX and you will see what i'm talking about,
also has high jack mode,
if the door gets opened and seat belt comes off while the engine is running 30sec later the engine will shut down thats then the theif is 100m down the road from you.
