4agze SC noises

Hi guys, When I rev up my just installed 4agze, the supercharger rattles quite loudly as the sc clutch engages. You can just hear it from inside the cabin when driving. I checked that it was the sc by disconnecting the sc relay and giving it a rev.
I've verified that the sc has oil in its sump, so I'm wondering if this noise is something to do with the sc being unused for some period of time and the gears/bearings being dry.
Has anyone experienced this before?

yeah, the one i have on at the moment does it just of idle, it has a fixed 90mm pulley on it. i'm lending it from a friend to see how it goes, so i wont pull it apart to have a look. it had been sitting a while to, so you could be right about the bearings?? anyway it comes off tomorrow, so i can start on my turbo conversion. btw, 160mm crank pulley, 90mm fixed s/c pulley, 12psi very nice!

I had that problem when i first got my motor. Some monkey in Japan had left the nut which secures the s/c clutch mechanism loose allowing the inner part of the clutch to wobble/rattle around. When i removed mine to look the clutch surface was stuffed with deep gouges all over it. I then had to source a new s/c clutch which wasnt fun at he time.

On an SC12 related topic, when I rev my 4agze quite high like towards 6500 and over it starts to make this little screeching sound, could it be belt slip or something? it doesn't happen at all at lower revs no matter how much or how little boost so I don't know.. The SC has oil in it, and I've been driving it for around 4 months now, I don't remember it happening when I first had it in the car...
any suggestions?

Sounds a bit like belt slip to me. Tighten your belt up a bit and take it for a run. Hopefully the noise will be gone!
