What you need to do is go to your local ford dealer and ask for the paint code. Then you go to your local paint distributor and ask for a can or 2
Easy

would the likes of a ford dealer just readily give out the paint code? won't they ask me about if i actually own one?
Apart from the other paints needed like primer and that to achieve a finish like that do i need any pearls and other stuff? I've never painted a car before...

A dealer legally has to supply paint codes. As for primers and such just speak to a panel beater.

Go to your Ford dealer and pop the bonnet on a car with the colour you like, and check the build plate! the paint code is right there!

Why does that mean you can't get yours painted that colour? "I was going to buy this new Ferrari, but then I saw another red one, and I just couldn't drive one of the same colour"

Or if you are feeling particularly destructive, run a chisel over a few doors/ bonnet / roof... collect the scrapings and get a $3 paint match from your local hardware store...
not reccomended... but its another story to tell the kids..

Cool colour choice (the purpley blue or the orange) Just yesterday I was driving home and I was thinking about another KE20 for something to do and that Orange was the exact colour that I had in mind.
I also like the yellow/green that Ford also has.
I knew that if nobody else was impressed then at least bigworm would be.
