Which block? 20valve or 4agze for turbo conversion

I have a 20valve in my 88 corolla, and am going to turbo it! Need to know is there any advantage of using the 4agze block over the 20valve block apart from comp ratio of corse! Would I be better off buying forged pistons for the 20valve or use the gze block with forgy's! what boost can the gze block safely run with standard pistons? what dramas has anyone had with too much boost! Am looking at getting the block oringed and copper head gasket!

this has been covered before. do a quick search on the forums.
heres the basics:
GZE bottom end, forged pistons to suit the 20V and the 20V head.
I doubt the stock 20V engine would like much more than 6psi for too long. The block isnt what your going to have issues with at high presures anyway, more likly te piston rings, the piston tops or the head gasket will go first.

yeah will need the crank and the rods but get the pistions for the 20v also i dont know if the head will bolt staright up to the block thats why im saying what u will need from the ze unless u wanna spend a little bit more money get the 20v crank shot peened and forged... and then get billet steel rods and forge3d pistion will take plenty off boost and power without drama then u will have a bullet proof motor!
