Hey all,
I've been reading some stuff about what the Soarer boys are doing with their auto boxes. Many are praising Michael from MV Automotics. Can anyone give me more info on what sort of wotk they have had done (valve bodies, torque converters, stall speeds, etc.) and improvements these mods have made to street/strip cars. What sort of prices go with these shifting improvements? Do they make a 'kit' and, if so, how hard would the install be for a backyard grease ape ? Knowing the Getrag 6 speed custom install is way outa bounds for me for the forseeable future, I'm wondering what can be done to the factory auto to make a manual kind of guy happier.
TIA,
Justin

Thanks for that. Have you done anything to your box? If so, how do you rate it?
Thanks,
Justin

I'm having the full trans rebuild done in the next week or so (I have a converter and the valvebody already, as well as the manual shift relay box-I don't run a trans computer) so it'll end up beng the full house package. I'll advise the results. I would certainly recommend the stage 1 though.
