Wats Up
Im about to buy an AE82 Rolla hatch and ive decided to drop in the 4AGZE. I was wondering wether it mattered if the original gearbox was auto or man, Cause im obviously gonna buy the man gze.
Also if anyone can give me any tips that can help me along the way as my mates have convinced me that this will now be a home project . to save money on labour that the mechanic will charge. will post some pics of the different stages.
hit this email if ya need to

in regards to auto to manual, if you buy a half cut, you will get most of the parts you need. im not sure if the pedal box or master cylinder will fit from ae92 or ae101 gze's but if not it will be dirt cheap to get these for an ae82 from a wrecker. if you dont buy a half cut (which you would be crazy not to) then you need to make sure you get approriate flywheel and clutch, and maybe gearbox mounts im not sure.

As for oil in the cooler, it doesn't mean much. Cam covers vent into the inlet just before the throttle and then the oily air goes through the intercooler. I think it happens to all of them.

if anyone has done this sort of a conversion before could they possibly give me some hints or problems which they ran into
is it difficult to change to the gze driveshaft
do you use the engine mounts from the half cut or are the originals fine to use
cheers

i can do the wiring for u for a price

i would need the origianl dash wiring
the original wiring that goes down right hand side under the gualrd plus the wiring acroos the front think its one long piece
the original wiring of the original engine with the original fusebox
the wiring of the new engine
