Toyota Caldina station wagon 4X4 powered by 1JZGTE. That will get you a gearbox and transfer case that will suit a 1JZGTE.

I think the Mark II came in 4wd format.
I recall seeing a JZX100 wagon on the net somewhere that was 4wd with a 1JZ-GE.

I think you will find that is a 3S-G(T)E in the caldina!!

Found something!!

JZX105, they only seem to be in auto though.

I can't believe they put a 2L-TE in a *X10*, I would have thought a 1KZ if they had to put a diesel in one!!

Aristo's are available in 4WD as well, with a 2JZ-GE engine. JZS147 or something like that.

One way you could get some traction Norbie, go 4WD.

How is the JZA60 for traction with is semi-trailing arms??
Just curious because my E30 BMW has the same setup and they are known to be quite loose stock, let alone with a 1JZ in it.

My Supra hooks up surprisingly well, which wasn't what I was expecting at all given the rooted LSD and dodgy suspension. The 12.49 ET proves there is a decent amount of traction available! Methinks it will have heaps of traction once I fix the LSD and replace the non-existent suspension bushes. Smile

As mentioned above, the Caldina has a 3S-GTE so that won't help you. After a bit of research I found out the 4WD Aristo's have 1UZ's and appear to be auto only, so that's no good either. Here's a bit of basic information:

I guess that leaves the JZX105 Chaser/MarkII as your best bet. Good luck!

Need to do a bit more research!
Caldina is only a small mid size car with an EAST-WEST engine.
It sits on the same floorpan as the Celica.
The Caldina GT-T was the successor to the Celica GT4.

As above, Crown wagon has 1J with 4wd, but is auto only, same as Aristo & Altezzas.
