hi, can someone tell me is 8000K HID is legal?

i heard that 8000K give a blue light colour, will this be illegal?

If Lexus, BMW, Mercedes can do it, I don't see why a retrofit would be illegal. It would pay to ring your local engineer or RTA though for confirmation.
