Embarassed
I'm not a mechanic's *armpit* and at the risk of showing my complete stupidity to this entire list.....how do you disassemble the rear hub carrier from the control arm on an MA61?
I;m trying to attach a pic below and I'm sure it has something to do with the big nut on the back of the hub......
Thanks,
Mitch.

Yes, you need to undo the big nut and have the hub pressed out. Neither is easy!

'big' nut is only like 28mm (or maybe 32mm?) and is pretty damn easy to take off actually. but dont expect anything exciting to happen when you undo it Sad

youll need to take the whole trailing link assembly to an engineer with a big mofo hydraulic press...

this busts the bearings when you finally get the hubs out, so have a new lot ready (~$80 per hub from repco)

cheers

Thanks GT and Ed.
I guess this was what I was expecting, but I hoped it would
be easier than that !
Cheers,
Mitch.
