Are all live axle "F" series rear end gearsets interchangeable? I'm looking at changing the ratio in a corona Mk2 diff from 3.9:1 to 4.111:1 from a crown, but just changing the gearset, not the whole centre (LSD hemisphere already fitted to the corona centre)

if a mk2 supra is f-series (which I'm pretty sure it is) I mihgt be interested in a trade with you, my 4.111 centre for your 3.9 (assuming yours is in pretty good nick, as mine makes no noise at all)

Dragging up an old thread, but the question is relavent:

Are IRS gearsets interchangable into live axle centres, and vice versa? I have a felling they won't be, due to a visually longer pinion gear in the IRS gearsets???
