I need help!

I'm going to look at a set of MA61 alloy wheels tomorrow with a view to fitting these to my 1972 (early rear) TA22 Celica.

The rear pair are wearing 225/60/14s though.

Are they going to fit?

225's will easy fit under the guards but it depends on the offset of the MA wheels , 245's will fit with the right offset aswell .

i tried these rims on my 71 ( same guards as 72's )

youll get a maximum of a 195 to fit comfortably , the rest will scrub UNLESS you intend to rill the lip on the guards ..

I had fitted a 225 on the back - with minor scrubbing - but 195's ran oh so much smoother with these exact rims

Stick with 195's - they are plenty rubber for a ta22 - and cheaper !
