does anyone know for sure if the ma70 supra and mz21 soarer share the same chassis/xmembem , drivline length, wheelbase ect
ie could a JZA70 half cut be bolted into(x member and all) an MZ21?

I believe there are differences between the Z and A chassis. I'm currently straightening an MZ chassis and the only reference I have is the Toyota chassis drawing for the MA. I've been unable to find any Soarer chassis info. My measurements show that while they are the same in many respects, there are differences in chassis. Apart from the chassis rails the rest of the engine bay dimensions differ radically as all the body panel points are different. I believe the cross members are the same though. Once again, if anyone out there has a Japanese Chassis and body repair manual for the MZ soarer I would like to hear from them.
