Had my first drive of the Corona on the weekend! It was pretty scary as everything had just been finished and it hadn't been driven for a couple of years so i took it pretty easy. Also there is still a large mess of wires right next to the accelerator and there was no actual pedal on it. But yeah, i had a little drive up and around the street in industrial area just to see how it goes. It is still running on 5 cylinders at the moment though. Have to get it on the road and run it in a bit more otherwise the new injectors will need cleaning. Anyway, it was still fun! Should be all legal and registered in about 2 weeks!
BTW this is my 1jz corona.

Killer. There's nothing like that first dodgey 'What's that funny noise?', or 'What's that smell?' drive around the block is there? No major dramas though I guess. Are you running the stock ECU? Should be an enjoyable beastie indeed. 5 speed? I'm at the same stage with a crown at the moment. ENJOY!

Good one. "I love it when a plan comes together".
I like it even more when a Toyota comes together.
