Corona strut into Celica. Wheel question

Just a simple question, I did a search and couldn't see this mentioned anywhere, but if I upgrade my front brakes in my RA23 to XT130 Corona struts, 604 rotors and hliux calipers, basically from this article, http://www.toymods.org.au/phill_brake/ , will the wheels still fit or will they now have different offset and such. Just that I'm thinking of putting down a few grand in a few months on some nice mags and don't want them to be useless once I do a brake upgrade

My original mag wheels fit, but the track width has increased slightly. 15x7 wheels on 195x50x15 tyres and no problems with them touching the guards.

hmm, the wheels I want are 16x7's Not sure on the tyres yet. How much space do you have to the guards? As in, how much wider do you think you could go?

Have a look here :
http://www32.brinkster.com/turbora28/general/index .html
All the first pics have the brake upgrade.. some towards the end don't but the ones taken on the grass paddock do. so maybe you can get an idea from there how the wheels sit.
Its not that low either, which helps a lot I think with guard clearance.

I have 16x7s on mine with 205/45s and I just get scuff marks on the inner guards, but cannot hear it happening, so it's within my limits. I don't know that you'd fit any wider than 205s at the front, but you'll find that even standard celicas have a wider track at the front than the back, yet the guards are no wider, so the front always sit clser to the front guards than the rear, & I think it's only slightly increased with the corona struts.

Be real carefull. Yes you will increase the track - I think it is about 25mm each side. I ended up changing my wheels to stop scrapping.
I would strongly suggest setting up the new brakes and then getting the rims. (it alos opens up a whole new world of rims)
This will give you a problem at the back. Drop me a line and I could possibly help you out with some hub extenders at the back - see previous posts about wheel spacers - or I can put you onto a place that makes them.

Umm, I don't suppose anyone would know if 14" rims would fit over the Hilux calipers at all?
