to supercharge, or not to supercharge, that is the question...(22RE) Mon, 18 August 2003 10:18 Go to next message
Hi All,

Anyone ever attempted or heard of anyone attempting to graft a supercharger off a 1G-GZE onto a 22RE? I have a 22RE and am interested in forced induction and probably wouldn't have too much trouble getting the supercharger either. Turbo is another option (CT26) but am interested in a supercharger just for the sake of being different. Anyone know of any issues?

Cheers,

Ben

My mate Matt (in Canada) has almost finished his 22RZE project, using a big ford blower I think. Try PMing him "mr mcfarlane"

Hi peoples,

mr mcfarlane, interesting picture, if you've got anymore angles of it or shots of it in a bay that would be fantastic...

And thanks everyone for the speedy replies...I'm fairly new to this forum but I'm mucho impressed...

Cheers,

Ben

what kinda info are you looking for?

I'm not about to take more pictures from any other angles, it's just not done, and i'm rather lazy Wink

I'm open to answer any questions tho.

I can't give you pics of it in an engine bay, as it's not done yet, but it's suited for an ra64 if that helps..

[sorry about the pic size.. i haven't had a chance to resize]
