This is how i bought the car.
http://board.performanceforums.com/gallery/data/500/16front-med.jpg

Some other wheels i got along the way
http://board.performanceforums.com/gallery/data/500/16new_wheels2-med.jpg

And this is how it is today, i need something to go on the rears to match the P1's
http://board.performanceforums.com/gallery/data/500/16High_shot-med.JPG

This is Riceboy's old AE86, some changes have happened along the way and some are withwin weeks from happening! So far its been a good car with some minor probs needing sorting..

So far i have changed wheels and have changed a whole heap of other settings.

I have recently bought

-T series rear end
-S13 rear brakes and calipers
-Brand new TRD 2 way LSD
-JIC Short stroke springs for rear
-Short stroke brand new shocks for rear
-P1 racing rims
-larger vented front brakes and caliper

that will all be going on in the next week or so. Then i have to sort out the front coil overs.. the car came with modded susp already but its not really up to my sort of standard. The front coil overs consist of stiff springs with monroe gt gas shocks.. not the best. So im converting them to short stroke too,

How much did those Buddyclub P1's set u back?

It's a great thing that you painted the front grille back to black, and also the mirrors/wipers - i guess the former owner lived up to his name as 'riceboy' Cool

Those rims you have on the back are shocking Laughing they look as if they have been shot with a machine gun while moving haha

Nice car mate, glad to see an AE86 going to the deep end

Thanks.. im glad someone noticed the painted bits Smile

i reckon they look better black thats for sure! there was just WAY too much white, needed some contrast

As for the wheels... yeah they kinda look like japanese chaser rims lolol but i dont mind them acctually.

But i am after a set of 2 15X7 inch rims with some dish of some sort Smile

I reckon you should paint the bumpers black too, it'll look more Japanesy haha.

Are those Jap spec later model mirrors? or is it just my imagination? they look rounder and glossy.

Those P1's look hot - where u get em from and how come only 2?

well the P1's were 200 bucks the pair and i thought damn only two... but a bargain never the less! so i bought them... better to have TWO p1's then none Very Happy

they are bloody light too! Handling has imporved.

prolly gonna leave the bumpers, but i may however paint the bonnet black and the gaurds white and loose that graphic

as for the mirrors... i have glossy paint on them.. but they are Oz ones Wink

Yeah great choices in styling.

Where did you score those P1's so cheap?

TRD 2way- tasty! Very Happy was it cheap? So your gonna have s13 brakes on the rear, sounds like a good track car

why yes, yes i am Smile

yeah the TRD was cheapish for a brand new unit.

and the S13 brakes should make a difference... good for locking up the rears easy with a hand brake haha, i'll have to fiddle with the brake proportioning valve a bit tho

just in case everyone cannot read japanese, it says "hachi roku dorifutaa" or "hachi roku drifter" (as we non japanese would say it) on the bonnet Smile
