i;m trying 2 take out the cluster.. so that i can change the lite bulb n change the speedometer into white..n etc...customising etc...but i have taken evething out..just thatn i cant take it the cluster out..seems like somehting is holding it back...i dunno what is?,.,,,,,,arghhhhhh 
ne1 here experience this probz b4...
i dont wanna use my muscular 2 pull it out..haha make break something..which i alreayd heard when i was pull it out..i heard this crackling sound

Well the main reason why it wont come out is due to your speedo cable un do it from the gearbox or you wont get the cluster out.
Make sure you have taken every screw out, and if there is stuff attached to the cluster like air vents/controls(leverthings) make sure they arent holding it back if so unscrew em.
Check for bolts holding shht in but you will get it off.
I have now taken my dash off about 6 times i have heaps off screws left over   jks

argh..fanx buddy ill give it try..i;m pretty sure as wel its the cables n shit 2...but i unplug them from the gear box..how i do that..is ther ne other ways?Z>.

haha yeh i unscrew evverthing i know the cluster moves..jujst cant take it out..haha

Unless your car is low as fk u should be able to crawl under there on the gearbox on the drivers side there will be a thickish cable going in to a metal bit hanging off the gearbox, all the cables ive seen just screw off do this then follow it through to your firewall hole making sure nothings holding it down then yank your cluster out you should be able to detach the speedo cable from the gauge but be carefull they are delicate (speedo).
And theres a few screws but its all in there sweet!

there is no need to undo the speedo cable from the gearbox if u can get 2 fingers behind the cluster.
if there is room reach behind the cluster from the left and u will feel a round shaft protruding from the back of the cluster, there is a clip that undoes itself when u press the top of it. usually a bracket holds the speedo cable to the frame of the dash so unscrewing it from the gearbox may not work.

hahah nice ascii drawing........so its just 1 big block of cable nothing else...
huhz..i tryed that. my fat hands cant even get the back of it..hahah fucking..can i force it a lil so just enough for my hand 2 reach in?...or do i have do the gear box way..i;m sure that there is others.ways rob_ra40 had a good 1..just probz with the limit space i have...so i can just force a lil ....will it damage the connectors n wireZ..

you'll snap something.
remember never force anything if it wont go it wont go without breaking something. Is the speedo screwed in to the cluster? undo it then try to pull it out.
And yeh if you can get your hand behind there try and get it off
its either that or the gearbox, get under the car and look its piece of pss to undo.
