Can Anyone recognise what brand wheels? Thu, 21 August 2003 06:17 Go to next message

http://www.mrmag.com.au/catalog/item.asp?id=403

6" width kinda sucks. 15" is too small for Big Brakes. But I do want some nicer wheels and these are kinda smart ... and cheap!

Anyone know a brand? Homebrand?

cheers,

Justin

MMmmm... 195 rubber. tractionless fun

you know it's illegal to put narrower width rims on your car than it comes with?
supra comes with 7" wide rims, so you gotta go at least 7" when getting a/m wheels

in nsw anyhow

Yeah, traction doesn't look good. WA's tyre regs are even more Byzantine, if you can believe that. I'm currently running 8" rears - which is also illegal.

Anyways, they also have a set of 17x7 Arays which might be worth a look. After it's been engineered and insected - 17s would ALSO be illegal in WA!

Dreaming of 16x& and 9" Simmons OMs or B45s with 265s on the rears. Nice looks, Big Brakes AND traction! Legality? Phht, worth the risk in that case Rolling Eyes

Edit: Insected? What was I thinking? I meant inspected ... I think Smile

See Mike Malloy's 17x9 black-centred OM17's at www.celicasupra.com. Very droolworthy! And yeh, apparently 0-3mm offset.
