weird! my 4AGE has done that a few times before!
i think mine does it when theres a problem in the cooling system, last time it did it i'd blown a heater hose, and it did it recently and id done the water pump gasket.
i dont know if this is the same problem but its worth a try.
have you tried disconnecting the batterie, then pushing the brake till all the power is gone then hook it all back up to reset the computer? i have heard this works for some problems like this.

ISCV is locked open imho.
Happened to me, fix it and it will all be ok (look at the power source!)

pull th eidle motors apart and clean em
i have found afew with seized bearings
u can spray wd40 in em and free em up
but it could also be bad coolant temp sensor
or air in cooling system sometimes
or it could be tps set wrong
all these affect the warm up of an engine
