fitting DLI to a 4AGE

I'm in a bit of strife. I've just got a DLI setup of a 4AGZE and I'm planning to fit it to my 4AGE. Probs are as follows. The Crank Angle Sensor has 1 more wire than the Dizzy, I believe this goes to G2 pinout on the GZE ecu, which I obviously don't have on my GE ecu....what do I do with this wire? secondly, what wires do I connect to the twin coil packs? and what do I do with the ignitor wiring?

simple answer is you cant without coil pack ecu or aftermarket ecu and also you need the right crank angle sensor.

When you say I need the right CAS, do you mean the GZE one? cause that's what I've got.

You can't run it with your ECU you will need to use the GZE ecu .

is the 4age goin to be n/a or forced induction
i doubt its worth the hassle of fitting dli ignition to it
the 4agze computer has 2 outputs to coils from the ignitor
yr 4age ecu has one output to coil from ignitor
if u use 4agze ecu then the fuelk map might be abit out
by putting dli on a 4age u will not notice the hp gain
u might on a dyno but on the street i doubt u will
unless u go aftermarket ecu
even then u might not gain much compared to money u will outlay

I put the DLI on my car( 4AGE Twin Cam ) and had to use after market ignition ( microtech ) on it. I have it turboed now, but the only different thing about doing this was the better tuning with the crank angle sensor and coils. I would definately reccomend this for people to do if they can get thier hands on the gear. There is only 1 kind of crank angle sensor for the 4AG engines aswell, if you know of another ( better ) one please let me know.
Regards, NOS4AG!!!!

You can get DLI converters that work with the standard ECU! They use the standard pickups in the base of the dizzy and use those signals to fire a ze igniter and coils.

I may not have it too much longer anyway. I've been offered a 20V so I'll have to sell the 16V to get the money together
