Hey guys,
I remember a thread recently where the part numbers for the selector bushing (at the end of the stick) and the one that the hemisphere sits on were posted up. Hope that made sense...

Did a search for "w58 selector", "w58 bushing", w58 part number", and even got desperate and did a search on "w58" but I still couldn't find that thread!!!

So does anyone have those part numbers written down? I'll be giving Toyota a visit tomorrow and want to grab those two bits.

Thanks!

Nark, if you're having trouble... ask the OCC (or search your inbox if you keep archives). IIRC there are 2 parts, one is a part number for a hilux (?) bushing which is better than the stock one.

Thanks for the help guys!

Got 'em. $25 with the Toymods discount from our sponsors Penrith Toyota. Smile

Now I just have to find an hour so that I can stick them in...

Shouldn't take an hour, really, if all you have to do is take out the console, undo those big screws/bolts, remove the boot and take ouit the selector.

$25? How much of a discount is that? Bugger, I should have asked you nicely to buy me a set too and send them down in an envelope, my shifter needs new bushes too.

An hour includes farting around and drinking Coke before I start, when I get the selector out, and when I put it back together. Smile

It's not hard. 6 screws to get the centre console out and then 8 bolts (4 for the plate that attaches to the tunnel and 4 on the actual gearbox itself).

Err.. Can't remember the discount, I think it was $32 or so before discount...

Yeah, I seem to recall paying around $30 when I bought them recently (no discount). It made a big difference too, well worth the money!
