I'm looking into doing a swap of my current 3S-FE with a 3S-GE in my '88 celica. I'm pretty much a newb to this kind of thing so i need some help.
First of all, what parts (other than the engine) am i going to need to make it work? I was told i'll need to get a computer and wiring loom, which i'll try to find second-hand somewhere. Is there anything else that i need?
I'll be getting a mechanic to do the swap, and one guy i talked to said it'll probably take about 6 hrs @ $55 an hour. Does this sound reasonable?
Also are there any other costs involved with the swap?
