Chasing a diff from a mid 1980's Celica. I have done some pretty extensive research and have found that the one I need comes only in a manual RA65 Celica.
The axle code on the build plate will be F372. Alternatively I may be interested in purchasing one from an automatic RA65 which is an F302, however this is not really what I am after and would greatly prefer the former.
If anyone has one of these, knows someone who does, or knows of a wrecker in Brisbane that might have one, please let me know.
Just as a bit of an addition for anyone who is wondering, I did some more research. The diff from an RA60 Celica (be it manual or automatic) will not suit my application as it is different again. This diff will be identified by the code "F312" and is not useful to me in any way.
Well let me get the MA61 rear end first.. Should be getting it this Sat.
Yeah its a F372 Diff, it was behind a 22RE.
I'm putting a 1G in and the engineer wants rear Disc.(go figure)
So I'm getting the whole rearend of a MA61 and bolting that up I won't be needing the celica diff anymore.
When is the Jamboree? I guess I can check the events..
are you still chasing the diff. if so will one out of a sa63 fit i think there the same. if so i know where there is one but not sure on price. pm me back
