FS: RB20DET turbo housings + fittings Wed, 10 July 2002 11:20 Go to next message
howdy,

following the death of the core of my T3 RB20DET unit, im selling the exhaust (internal wastegate) and compressor housings, compressor outlet elbow, wastgate actualtor, as well as all the oil and water fittings off the thing.

housingas are in very good condition, no wear marks, scores etc. the odd TINY mark on the compressor housing, but is functionally perfect.

AR's are about .48 exhaust, .50 compressor (dont know exact as theyre not stamped). stuff is basically ready to bolt onto a bare t3/nissan core.

im thinking $60 or so. in sydney, can COD or pickup.

offers?

serotonergic@hotmail.com

cheers

Hey ed, I'm very interested, particularily in the oil & water fittings. How long are they, and what sort of connections are they on the other ends?
If they're suitable, how about 50 for the lot, and I'll come pick it up?

Are you keeping the core for a rebuild or anything, cos if you're chucking it out, I'll give it a good home. Very Happy

Still, if you're gonna chuck it in the bin, I'll take it. I can always just chuck it in my bin. Anyway, it's not really important.

Where abouts in Sydney are you?

joel,

basically its all banjo fittings on the turbo end, except for the oil (?) outlet which is that diamiond shaped flange with a pipe extension (with rubber hose attached). off the banjo fittings are regular formed metal tubes, one of which ends in another banjo fitting, the rest are lopped off (at least 6" of pipe left).

the exhaust housing manifold flange is standard garrett t3

the spring tension in the w/g actuator is set atabuot 6-8psi

im in the blue mountains, but am at uni in the city each day, and at westmead on tues during the day.

cheers

Are you gonna be at the meeting tomorrow night?
If so we could just do the exchange there.
Otherwise, we'll hammer out a time & place in the city I guess. I have tomorrow off & will be finishing work in Mascot at 3pm tuesd, weds & thur this week.

So has that wastegate actuator been modified? How much boost is run standard, do you know?

Thanks mate! Very Happy

That's cool mate, Rod told me you weren't gonna make it.
If you're coming on the cruise on saturday, you wanna bring it then?
