Running rich 1G-GTE (may need to change fuel reg) HELP!

This is on a Gen 3 1ggte RA65 Celica
I have fitted a helper fuel system i.e. external VL turbo pump inline with fuel line running in conjunction with the original internal fuel pump... however what happens when i start her up is that the car is running WAY rich.
when we disconnect either the internal or the enternal pump, she runs fine..
Note I am using stock ECU
Could this be a fuel regulator problem ? Also does anyone know where I can get a new fuel reg for the 1ggte from ?
The approximate fuel flow at the moment is about 3-3.5 litres per minute (very crude measure)...
Can someone explain WHY WHY WHY she is running rich ?

It sounds like your dual fuel pumps are flowing more fuel than the fuel pressure regulator and/or fuel lines can handle. As a result the fuel pressure has gone through the roof and the car is running rich. I'd recommend you put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and see what's going on in there.
